Baxter provide homepatient management and delivery services to in excess of hundreds of patients who carry out their medical treatments in their own homes. All these patients are renal patients undergoing a range of treatments such as APD and CAPD.
Each patient is managed in close partnership with their hospital based clinician. Our computerised patient management systems allow each patient´s regimen to be tailored to their individual needs and manages their supplies accordingly.
Each patients delivery is dispensed under the supervision of our Pharmacists and undergoes a series of rigourous checks prior to leaving the pharmacy warehouse.
As you would expect, our patient management systems also allow complete visibility of product batch numbers and allocation, so in the unlikely event of a problem with a product we are able to identify which patient has received which product.
In addition, our patient management system helps healthcare professionals to monitor their patients compliance with prescribed treatment. Although the investment required in our infrastructure and support is vast we treat each patient as an individual with the emphasis on making the patient feel re-assured, comfortable and at ease with their dedicated teams of Co-ordinators and Drivers. We also ensure patients always have the correct supplies in their homes, thus helping to improve their quality of life.
