The European Distribution Centre has been operating on the Lessines site since 1996.
An area of 54,000 pallets is available which has been designed to facilitate the flow of goods. 26 loading and unloading quays, 30 metres high, 142 metres deep and 76 meters wide are used. The figures speak for themselves.
A second hall has been specially designed to deal with smaller packages which can accommodate 28,000 plastic crates.
The main purpose of the centre is distribution throughout Europe of pharmaceutical and medical products from all over the world. This accounts for some 7,000 customers.
